Also, fun fact, Sevilla is the sister city of my beautiful hometown, Kansas City. Though the two weren't super-similar, some of the architecture looked alike, and there's even an Avenida de Kansas City. Needless to say, I got very excited about this and would not stop talking to everyone and anyone about K.C., which I'm sure got old quickly for everyone around me.
But so anyway here are a few photos from the Plaza de España, which photos certainly don't do it justice. It's a beautiful structure that was built in 1928 for a world's fair called the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It's since been used as a filming location for lots of films and TV shows, including Lawrence of Arabia, Attack of the Drones, and the Spanish version of Master Chef. I've never seen the show, but I guess it's a big deal here.
